BRADFORD MARINE BAHAMAS TOWING IS ‘IN THE MOVIES’
___________________________________________________________________
The plot involves lots of dolphins, a budding romance, and some espionage and mystery surrounding the US Navy. Sounds great but the US Navy does not have a base on Grand Bahama so how did the producers find a navy vessel for the crucial showdown at sea scenes? Look no further than Bradford Marine Bahamas, based in Freeport Harbour, Grand Bahama, and their trusty fast response towing and marine assist vessel Mr. C. (named after Bradford Marine founder Mr. Cosman). In a previous life Mr. C. was actually a US Navy vessel so with a little bit of movie magic the logos were changed, a few actors placed onboard, and voila … Captain Mike Stafford and the Mr. C are in the movies! Expected release date for Way of the Dolphin is winter 2009. Photo caption: Actress Ivana Milicevic portrays Navy Lieutenant Gwen Stiles in Way of the Dolphin. In this scene Bradford Marine Bahamas’ vessel Mr. C is transformed into a US Navy vessel for a showdown at sea. Mr. C’s captain, Mike Stafford, is seen to the far left. Bradford Marine Bahamas is the largest yacht repair facility, offering a full line of highly-regarded, quality yacht-related services.
